# What is AKAS?

AKAS is a Full-chain Resonance Protocol upgraded from the OlympusDAO 4.0 architecture, co-created by global consensus participants. Centered on the principle of "Consensus Participants as Operators," it aims to establish a decentralized financial ecosystem with no central authority, no pre-reserves, fully on-chain rules, and collaborative governance. All participants enjoy equal access, consensus rights, and incentive rights, striving to achieve fully decentralized asset circulation and cooperative order.
